Beat the 8 Ball is an intense family party game that challenges players to time their ball launches perfectly. The objective is to launch their ball on a ramp at the precise moment to beat the descending 8 Ball down the chute. The 8 Ball is first introduced into the funnel, where it spins like a coin in a spiral wishing well, before shooting down the scoring chute. Players eagerly watch as all the balls crash to their final positions, hoping to land before the 8 Ball to earn points. The locations on the chute determine each player's score.

This game of patience and skill can be enjoyed by 2 to 4 players, including children, teenagers, parents, and adults. Regardless of one's skill level, everyone has a chance to win. It is recommended for ages 6 and up.

To play, the 8 Ball is set spinning in the funnel, and each player must decide when to release their own marble. Beating the 8 Ball earns points, while landing after it deducts points. The later a player's ball lands (before the 8 Ball), the more points they receive, encouraging them to take risks. The game continues for three rounds or until the first player reaches 10 or more points.

The set includes a platform with a base, funnel, ramps, triggers, and a scoring chute, as well as an 8 Ball and four colored balls. Illustrated rules are provided to guide players through the game.
